A winch is one of those things you’ll wish you had – one of these days. It might be a stubborn stump, a calf stuck in the mud, or your neighbor’s ATV out of a ditch…but it’s going to happen. Winch – Look, if you have a farm or a big property, you’re eventually going to have to pull something out of something else.To make your Sidekick safer and extra useful, consider tacking on some extra gear:.Snow plows, box blades, harrows…anything you can attach to a trailer hitch, you can drag behind a Sidekick. Yep, you can hook up a pull behind mower or bush hog and mow your fields or lawn. “The reason we developed this as a lot of the farmers and our customers, they have multiple farms and they needed a vehicle that could go a little bit faster between the farms.” “We did a survey with our dealers and they wanted us to build a vehicle that, that would go a little bit faster and had more accessories and attachments with it,” explains Rajesh Joshi, Kubota director of product marketing, Turf/RTV. In that case, you need to keep the towing weight down to 1,550 lbs. You can tow a small boat or trailer, as long as the weight doesn’t exceed 2,000 pounds…unless you’re on an incline. The optional hydraulic lift feature makes dumping the load a lot easier. You can secure your load with four tie-down points. of feed, firewood, river rocks, chainsaws, fence posts, puppies…or whatever else you need to haul. The Line-X coated steel cargo box can carry up to 15.2 cubic feet, or 1,000 lbs.The cab is well designed with adjustable steering, comfortable seats, and enough headspace and legroom to easily accommodate guys who top 6 feet.Ī fun ride is a fun ride, but you need a working vehicle, right? Boy, does this one fit the bill. Coilover shocks and polyurethane suspension parts ensure a smooth ride even on the roughest terrain. And with max speeds topping out around 40 mph, you can get where you’re going in a hurry.Īdaptive Electronic Power Steering (EPS) gives you complete control, even loaded down or at high speeds. The Sidekick is equipped with a gas-burning, EFI, twin-cylinder, 851cc Subaru engine that delivers 48hp, plenty of power for the 2,000 lbs towing capacity and 1,000 lbs cargo capacity. Whatever you call it, this class of off-road vehicle is typically larger than an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle), seats 2 – 4 people, and is equipped with ROPS and a steering wheel (instead of handlebars). You might even call it a side-by-side…because two people can sit in it. It’s also a hard working UTV – Utility Task Vehicle or Utility Terrain Vehicle. RTV stands for Rough Terrain Vehicle, and this hardy machine really delivers, no matter what kind of ground you’re covering. It may look like a long day of fast fun (and it is), but it’s also a powerful little workhorse. When the new Kubota Sidekick roared off the line last year, we admit we were pretty impressed.

I'd love to upgrade, but not if they're too buggy still. Do you have a view on how stable/ready/worthwhile DSM7 and Drive Beta are at the moment? I've had a peak at DSM7 and it looks cool, but not sure what's underneath. In other words a folder should always be though of as Client or server and enabled & configured at server end only. I assume it could be problematic if one enables a folder as two way sync at both ends. (Only now I have installed Drive Server at both ends)įinally, it I may ask a new question. What am I missing? Does it mean, mount first, then open Team Folders?Īs far as I know, all I have done is mount the folders at both ends and they are in the Team Folder list, so then I can "Enable" them as a sync folder. Or they have to mount in order to be visible in order for ShareSync to pick them up You CAN sync encrypted shared folders that are presented as team folders You CAN'T mount remote folders as Team Folders in order to use ShareSync feature on them It does work for me now, so maybe it doesn't matter, but I am still seeking to better understand what appears to be a contradiction in the following statements: I have been successful now in syncing the encrypted folder between the two NAS sites. That also meant the encrypted folders weren't appearing whether enabled as Team folder, mounted or otherwise. Hence I was using the only thing available - Cloud Station Sync. I don't want to install packages necessarily and I understood Drive is a client server model. Should I install Drive server at both ends? When I "enable" the encrypted & mounted folder from Synology Drive Server it acts as normal (from an admin console perspective), but never appears in the Cloud Station Share Sync list at the client side.Īlso, I must say I am a bit confused about the different methods available and the naming conventions. I am syncing between two NAS drives at two different locations and have successfully synced unencrypted folders. Synchronization and backup Keep your files always up-to-date and protected. This story is a selection from the January issue of Air & Space magazine Buy I take the goggles off, feeling a bit shaken but energized, as if I’ve just finished a roller coaster ride. My drone, or rather the one I was following, has crashed. Then the drone shoots up, loops around two walkways, drops down through the first difficult obstacle, and then it’s spinning, then upside down-suddenly the screen in my goggles goes black. I’m “in” one of the drones using my own pair of FPV goggles, streaking at nearly 80 mph over the nets that protect the spectators, through the first check gate-a neon circle-then banking a 90-degree left over a reflecting pool, and down the straightaway that runs the 300-foot length of the building. "We were in Pioneer Square, and we heard gunshots," Fodor, 26, tells USA TODAY Sports. This was three years ago, and he wasn't acting as Ben Fodor at the time, but rather as his superhero alter ego "Phoenix Jones," the masked crimefighter who's been patrolling Seattle since 2010, courting controversy and danger.
